Modex: 39% of 1,000 top taxpayers engaged in trade sector 

ArmInfo. In the first half of 2025, the main activity of 39% of taxpayers included in the list of 1000 largest taxpayers of the Republic of Armenia was trade. This is evidenced by the results of a study by the Modex consulting company.

According to the source, we are talking about 389 large taxpayers,  who replenished the state budget by 323 billion drams, which amounted  to 24% of the total revenue controlled by the State Revenue  Committee.

Next comes the manufacturing sector (147 taxpayers), whose tax  revenues amounted to 143 billion drams, and the financial and  insurance sector (47 taxpayers) - 133 billion drams.

The TOP-5 areas also included IT (76 taxpayers, 54 billion drams) and  construction (101 taxpayers, 51 billion drams). Let us recall that a  total of 1,000 taxpayers in Armenia replenished the state budget by  986.1 billion drams in the first half of the year, which exceeds the  figure for the previous year by 10%.
