According to 2024 results, approximately 80% of Armenian wine is  supplied to Russia

ArmInfo.In 2024, Armenia reduced wine exports by 4.1% to 4.3 million liters. The customs value of exported wine decreased by 3.1% - to $ 17.7 million, as evidenced by  data from the Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia.

Traditionally, the main market for Armenian wine is Russia, which  accounted for 83.2% of exports in 2024, decreasing to 79.6%.  Following Russia are the USA (7%), Poland (1.4%), France (1.2%),  China (1%), Lithuania and Belgium (0.8% each), and Germany (0.7%).  Smaller volumes were supplied to Georgia, Kazakhstan, Canada, Latvia,  Britain, the Netherlands, Israel, Italy, Greece, Germany, Australia,  the UAE, Bulgaria, Belgium, Turkmenistan, Switzerland, Ukraine, the  Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, Uruguay, and Singapore. Less than 1  thousand liters were exported to Lebanon, India, Austria, Estonia,  Iceland, Spain, Japan, Sweden, Portugal, Vietnam, and  Kenya.  According to customs data, wine imports also decreased in 2024. In  particular, 1.2 million liters of wine were imported to Armenia, with  an annual decrease in volume of 9.6%. The customs value of imported  wine decreased by 7.2% - to $7.8 million.

Most of the wines imported to Armenia came from Spain (40.7%), Italy  (27.1%), France (10.3%), Moldova (4%), New Zealand (3.5%),  and  Australia (3.3%). Smaller volume was imported from Georgia, Austria,  Argentina, Belarus, Germany, South Africa, Israel, the USA, Chile,  Portugal, and the Russian Federation.  Less than 1 thousand liters  were imported from Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Hungary, and China.

Note that according to the RA Statistical Committee, 10 million  liters of wine were produced in Armenia in 2024, which is 29% lower  than the same period last year. The cost of wine in Armenia began to  grow in 2020 (by 0.4%), then in the following two years, it  accelerated in growth to 1.4% in 2021 and to 2.1% in 2022. After  that, there was a slight slowdown to 1.7% in 2023, and  in 2024, wine  became cheaper in Armenia by 1.5%. However, since 2025, the cost of  wine has started to increase again, with a growth rate of 2.6% per  annum in July.
