ArmInfo. NVIDIA will deploy a thousand Blackwell graphics processors in the region, as stated by the leader of the Republic party, Aram Sargsyan, referring to the statement made by NVIDIA President and CEO Jensen Huang.
The message says that the plans will be implemented thanks to cooperation with the Prime Minister of Armenia. Jensen Huang also mentioned that it will contribute to the development of computing in artificial intelligence and open up new opportunities for innovation and economic growth.
In this regard, Aram Sargsyan noted that this development is the most significant and encouraging for Armenia since the signing of the Washington agreements. He emphasized that NVIDIA's entry into the Armenian market is more significant than any political revolution and has the potential to be a pivotal moment for the country.
"NVIDIA is currently one of the fastest growing companies in the world, with its stock increasing by about 400% in just one year. The company's market value has reached $4 trillion, which is nearly equivalent to 600 annual budgets of Armenia. The Republic of Armenia has a real chance to become a regional hub for NVIDIA," he wrote. Additionally, the deputy expressed confidence that if this initiative is successfully implemented, Armenia will be able to get ahead of its neighbors in science, technology, economics, welfare and other areas by 10-15 years.
