Iraq proposes to establish joint committee with Armenian businessmen  to boost trade and economic relations

ArmInfo.  We suggest establishing a committee comprising Armenian and Iraqi entrepreneurs to oversee the  sustainable development of trade and economic  relations, as was stated by  Minister of Agriculture of Iraq Abbas  Jebur Al-Maleky at the 4th meeting of the Armenian-Iraqi  Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

In this regard, he expressed hope that Armenian entrepreneurs will  take part in the upcoming business forum  in Baghdad this fall. The  Minister highlighted Iraq's interest in engaging Armenian businesses  in Iraqi projects, particularly in service sector, agriculture and  trade as promising areas for collaboration.

"Iraq views Armenia as a true partner, both regionally and  internationally. We hope that today's meeting will become an  important factor in enhancing bilateral relations, ultimately  benefiting both nations," Abbas Jebur Al-Maleky noted.
