ArmInfo. In the first 7 months of 2025, online taxis issued receipts totaling $16.9 million, as reported by Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia Eduard Hakobyan, on a social network.
According to him, during the reporting period, taxi services operating through online platforms generated around 57 million cash receipts, amounting to over 65.3 billion drams. Of this total, about 2 billion drams were paid as state fees. "The implementation of online cash register system has significantly increased tax transparency in the taxi industry. Each trip contributed to the state budget and helps ensure public welfare," the chief tax officer emphasized.
