ArmInfo. Armenian Ambassador to India Vahagn Afyan held a meeting with Indian Minister of Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu, as part of an event organized for the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in New Delhi.
As reported by the press service of the Armenian Embassy in India, Afyan found it necessary to take active steps to establish air traffic and launch the necessary direct flights, given the friendly relations between the two countries. The Indian Minister of Civil Aviation responded positively and confirmed his commitment to the process.
Earlier, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan spoke about the possibility of launching direct flights from the Armenian capital to India starting in September of this year.
