ArmInfo. If there is a decline in real estate prices, it is happening very steadily and within a predictably stable sideways trend. The Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia announced this during a press conference on September 16.
Referring to the last few reports from the Central Bank, he noted that they spoke about potential risks of a decline in real estate prices. However, the actual situation has been different. Therefore, as the head of the Central Bank noted, the regulator does not see any additional risks. When asked about a possible imbalance in supply and demand in the real estate market after 2 years, Galstyan refrained from providing any assessments.
"I think we need to wait and see what happens, as the real estate market itself depends on several other factors, the development of which will be difficult to assess over a two-year period," the Chairman of the Central Bank emphasized.
