ArmInfo.On September 17, RA Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan received a delegation led by Alexander Timan, head of the International Monetary Fund's Armenian Mission.
As reported by the RA Ministry of Finance's press service, the parties discussed the directions for the fifth revision of the Memorandum of Economic and Financial Policies between the Republic of Armenia and the International Monetary Fund, as well as the draft sixth revision and the implementation of the IMF- supported reserve program. Vahe Hovhannisyan presented the reforms being implemented in public finance management in Armenia, aimed at clarifying budgetary processes, increasing investment efficiency, the main directions of tax policy, and reducing financial risks. At the end of the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous and effective dialogue as a prerequisite for strengthening stable and constructive cooperation.
