ArmInfo."The 2025 Banking Forum is exceptional in terms of the number of participants and the range of issues discussed," said Daniel Azatyan, Chairman of the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA), during the annual international forum "The Future of the Banking System: Sustainable Development and Innovation Prospects" on September 23.
This year's forum is exceptional not only in terms of the number of participants but also in the breadth of topics discussed. Our international partners, including those from the United States, Great Britain, Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Greece, and Georgia, honored the forum with their presence. "Your presence and participation once again confirm that our conference, which has already become a tradition, was a success and serves as a platform for discussing industry issues, establishing new partnerships, and expanding them," he said.
This year's forum is also unique in that it coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Armenian Banking Union, the head of the UBA continued.
"Our joint work, discussions, and cooperation are centered around one important goal: enhancing the quality and accessibility of financial services provided to the public. We firmly believe that this can only be achieved through dialogue and the implementation of the best international standards. It is only through these means we can ensure increased public trust in the financial system," Daniel Azatyan stated.
