ArmInfo.Syunik authorities are interested in implementing Canadian agricultural practices in the region, as stated by Syunik Province Governor Robert Ghukasyan during a meeting with Canadian Ambassador to Armenia Andrew Turner.
According to the press service of the Syunik Governor's Office, the discussion focused on issues related to the province's economic potential. Ghukasyan highlighted ongoing infrastructure development efforts through public funds and investments from local and international organizations.
In turn, the Ambassador, summing up his two-year tenure in Armenia, shared accomplishments in Syunik through the programs implemented with their assistance. The diplomat also mentioned his plans to devote more time to exploring the region's historical and cultural monuments during his visit.
During the meeting, the parties also touched upon the process of establishing lasting peace in the region and discussed other issues of mutual interest.
