ArmInfo. Armenia and Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) intend to deepen cooperation in digital policy. RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
"Today, I received representatives of Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), during which we emphasized the importance of regular discussions to address emerging challenges in the digital ecosystem and identify practical steps to increase resilience and trust in online platforms. We focused on two key topics: the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for economic development, considering the potential to promote local innovation and business; and child safety online, emphasizing the need for joint efforts to improve the digital literacy of children and their parents. I reaffirmed Armenia's commitment to deepening constructive engagement with global technology leaders, emphasizing the importance of such partnerships as part of the country's comprehensive digital transformation strategy," Hayrapetyan wrote.
