ArmInfo.The NA Civil Contract faction has nominated Armen Ktoyan (expert at the National Center for Public Policy Research, head of the Statistics Department at ASUE, and economist) for the Board Member position at the Central Bank of Armenia.
This nomination was discussed on October 13 during a meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Financial, Credit, and Budgetary Affairs.
MP Arusyak Manavazyan presented the candidate's background and professional experience during the meeting. Ktoyan spoke about the challenges of monetary policy, the stability of the financial and banking systems, and presented his vision for solutions. The candidate answered questions from MPs, touching on exchange rate fluctuations and monetary policy. Following the vote, the Commission will recommend Armen Ktoyan as the candidate for the Board Member position at the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia to the National Assembly.
