People aged 65 and over to be included in insurance system at first  phase of compulsory health insurance

ArmInfo. People aged 65 and older will be included in the system during the first phase of implementing mandatory health insurance starting in 2026. RA Health  Minister Anahit Avanesyan announced this on social media.

According to her, all insurance premiums for this category of  individuals will be fully covered by the state.  A number of  conditions will be taken into account, including RA citizenship and  residence in the RA for more than 183 days. Individuals aged 65 and  older will receive insurance regardless of whether they have a  disability or functional assessment system, whether they are employed  and have an income, whether they have a chronic illness, or whether  they are included in a socially vulnerable group.
