
ArmInfo. In the first nine months of 2025, export volumes from Armenian sellers on the Wildberries marketplace increased by 164% compared to the same period last year, the company's press service reported.
It is noted that after the license fee was reduced, which provided an additional incentive for small and medium businesses, the number of new sellers registered on the platform increased by 15%.
Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Georgia lead the list of countries where Armenian sellers most frequently ship their goods. Exports to Russia increased by 170%, to Kyrgyzstan by 187%, to Uzbekistan by 193%, to Belarus by 137%, and to Georgia and Tajikistan by two times.
Different trends by category are also noted. In Russia, sales by Armenian sellers are growing particularly rapidly in the Beauty (+156%) and Grocery (+150%) segments. In Belarus, the "Gardening Products" category showed significant growth, reaching 348%. In Kyrgyzstan, demand for household appliances is growing rapidly, up 214%, while in Uzbekistan, demand for food products is up 544% compared to last year.
Looking at general trends, the most popular export categories for Armenian sellers in 2025 were "Beauty" (+156%), "Household Appliances" (+199%), "Grocery" (+156%), "Gaming Consoles and Games" (+694%), and "Tableware and Kitchenware" (+204%).
According to the report, the 164% increase in exports demonstrates that Armenian sellers are confidently expanding beyond their domestic market through marketplaces, turning them into gateways between Armenia and foreign countries.
