ArmInfo. As of September 2025, Armenia has achieved a new historical milestone in the number of registered jobs. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during a regular cabinet meeting on October 23.
"The number of registered and income-generating jobs has crossed the 800,000 mark, reaching 805,687. Compared to September 2024, this figure has increased by 37,140, or 4.8%, and compared to September 2018, by 222,912, or 38%. Thus, we can confirm that more than 222,000 jobs have been created in Armenia since 2018," he said. Pashinyan mentioned that Armenia had previously transitioned to a single, flat income tax rate. As a result, the current income tax rate, regardless of income, is 20%. "This means that the excess interest remains in the hands of citizens. Our calculations show that there is money circulating in the Armenian economy," he stated with confidence.
