
ArmInfo. The Dubai Chamber of Commerce is organizing a bilingual business forum in Yerevan to strengthen trade, economic, and investment cooperation with Armenia, as noted in a statement issued by the Chamber.
Salem Alshamsi, Executive Vice President of International Affairs at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, noted that this trade mission to Armenia is an important step in bilateral strategic initiatives to unlock the vast potential of the Caucasus region for Dubai's business community.
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise Armenia signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance bilateral cooperation. In 2024, non-oil trade between Armenia and Dubai reached AED 25.7 billion, registering a 76% year-on-year growth. By the end of the first half of 2025, approximately 500 Armenian companies had registered as active members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has successfully completed its trade mission to Georgia and Armenia. During the second leg of the mission, the Chamber organized a series of bilateral business meetings for Dubai-based companies and their Armenian counterparts to explore new partnerships and opportunities to expand mutual trade and investment. As part of the mission, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce organized a business forum in Yerevan titled "Doing Business with Armenia." The event was held jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Armenia, the UAE Embassy in Yerevan, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, and Enterprise Armenia.
