ArmInfo. Levon Zurabyan, Deputy Chairman of the Armenian National Congress, has released a new program proposal.
"One of our programmatic goals should be to legally enshrine the concept of 'most favored nation status' in Armenia, which should provide for special economic relations, migration policies, and benefits for those states that demonstrate a clearly favorable and friendly attitude toward Armenia," the politician wrote on his social media page.
He stated that this is especially necessary to rule out potential plans by Azerbaijan or Turkey to change Armenia's demographic situation through aggressive land and other property acquisitions and economic expansion, as long as systemic Armenophobia, deep-seated manifestations of vendetta, and hatred persist in these societies. "Will this status be granted to Azerbaijan and Turkey only after a long period of trust- building, when the eradication of systemic Armenophobia is proven and the absence of malicious plans is guaranteed?" the ANC deputy chairman noted.
