ArmInfo. In 2026, the Prime Minister's Office of Armenia will receive more than in 2025. Meanwhile, funding for the country's parliament and the presidential administration will be reduced. This was announced on October 29 by Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan at a joint session of parliamentary standing committees discussing the draft state budget for 2026.
The National Assembly of Armenia is planned to receive 7 billion 4 million drams in 2026. This is 68 million drams less than in 2025. The Presidential Administration of Armenia will receive 1 billion 618 million drams next year, or 40 million drams less than this year. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister's Office will receive an increase of 1 billion 520 million drams compared to the 2025 budget of 25 billion 804 million drams. The minister explained that this increase is primarily due to the need to cover the costs of hosting the 8th European Union summit, as well as funding for laboratory testing in the area of food safety.
