Armenian-German intergovernmental talks starting in Berlin

ArmInfo. The Intergovernmental talks between the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Republic of Germany will take place in Berlin in the coming  days.  Armenian Ambassador to Germany Viktor Yengibaryan shared this information on his Facebook page.

During the talks, the parties will discuss and agree on financial and  technical cooperation priorities for the next two years. The Armenian  delegation will be led by Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, and the  German delegation will be led by  Niels Annen, State Secretary of the  Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

The delegations of both countries include high-ranking  representatives from various agencies. Additionally, talks with  business representatives are also planned.

Note that according to the RA Statistical Committee, in  January-August 2025, trade turnover between Armenia and Germany  decreased by 5.3%, totaling $297.3 million. At the same time, exports  increased by 77.4% to $71.4 million, against the backdrop of a  decrease in imports by 17.4% to $226 million.
