
ArmInfo. Armenia and Argentina discussed prospects for developing joint projects in the technology sector. According to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, this was announced following a meeting between Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, and Rafael Enrique Gonzalez Alemany, Ambassador of Argentina to Armenia.
In this regard, they emphasized the importance of exchanging experience and expanding cooperation in high technology.
According to the ministry, during the meeting, the parties discussed possible areas of cooperation in high technology, emphasizing the importance of sharing innovative potential and experience between the two countries. The discussion also focused on prospects for cooperation in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and space activities, given Armenia's growing potential in these areas.
Hayrapetyan praised the ambassador's visit, describing it as an important step toward strengthening technological, scientific, and educational ties between Armenia and Argentina. The parties noted the importance of expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The Minister presented the development of Armenia's high-tech sector, emphasizing progress in shaping the industry's ecosystem. He noted that the Ministry is implementing strategic initiatives aimed at fostering an innovative environment, developing a startup ecosystem, supporting educational and research programs, and deepening international cooperation. Ambassador Rafael Enrique Gonzalez Alemany, in turn, praised Armenia's technological progress and expressed his readiness to facilitate deeper technological cooperation between the two countries.
