
ArmInfo. Imports of petroleum products to Armenia in the first half of 2025 increased by 9.2% (compared to a 16.4% decline the previous year), reaching 244.1 thousand tons. The customs value increased by 7.8%, reaching $230.5 million, according to data from the RA Customs Service. Petroleum products were imported primarily from Russia (79.8%), Romania (17.1%), Egypt (9.4%), Turkey (8.6%), Greece (5.3%), Israel (4.2%), Iran (3.4%), Georgia (2.3%), as well as from Bulgaria, Belgium, Belarus, the Republic of Korea, Germany, the Netherlands, the UAE, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Spain, Italy, Poland, Canada, Singapore, Serbia, China, Ukraine, Switzerland, Sweden, the United States, Japan, Malaysia, Finland, France, and Kazakhstan. Less than 1 ton was supplied from Portugal, Oman, Indonesia, South Africa, and Austria.
Petroleum product exports increased by 2.7%, reaching 26.6 tonnes, while the customs value decreased by 33% to $194,500. The volumes were distributed between Russia (52%) and Kazakhstan (48%). It should be noted that, according to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, in accordance with the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Russian Federation of December 2, 2013 on cooperation in the field of supplies of natural gas, petroleum products and rough diamonds, as well as in accordance with the indicative balances signed between the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation for 2025, supplies of motor gasoline are envisaged in the amount of 230 thousand tons, and diesel fuel - 175 thousand tons.
