ArmInfo.  Armenia's GDP is projected to reach 11. 934 billion drams in 2026, as stated by RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan during a November 5 meeting of the NA Committee on Financial, Credit, and Budgetary Affairs, when summarizing the outcomes of discussions in the National Assembly.

He stated that the country's economic growth next year will be 5.4%.  State budget revenues are expected to amount to 3. 91 billion drams,  with 2 trillion 973 billion drams  coming from taxes. Improvements in  tax administration, combating the shadow economy, and  implementing  tax policy measures are expected to increase the tax-to-GDP ratio by  0.4 percentage points. The Minister noted that state budget  expenditures are planned at 3. 628 billion drams, with 2 trillion 924  billion drams being current expenditures and 704 billion drams -  capital expenditures. These expenditures will account for 5.9% of the  gross domestic product. Accordingly, expenditures will amount to  30.4% of GDP, which is 0.8 percentage points less than the projected  figure for 2025. The state budget deficit is projected at 537 billion  drams.

In turn, Central Bank Chairman Martin Galstyan emphasized that  macrostability has become the hallmark of the Republic of Armenia. He  announced that the budget deficit in 2026 will be reduced from 5.5 to  4.5%. According to the head of the Central Bank, this is a very  important signal for all potential partners and investors in the  pre-election year. "We have high economic growth rates and low  inflation," Martin Galstyan noted.
