Expert: AI will not replace people, but rather those who don`t use AI

ArmInfo.  Artificial intelligence (AI) will not replace  people, but rather  those who  don't use AI.  Mariam Hambardzumyan, co-founder of the investment  company TCF, expressed a similar viewpoint during a panel discussion  "HR: The Role of Human Potential in the Second Quarter of the 21st  Century - a New Era of the Relevance of the Tasks at Hand,"  being  held as part of the International PLUS Forum FinnoWay Armenia 2025.

She noted that today it is difficult to fully appreciate the changes  taking place. "This is a revolution unlike anything seen in human  history, and there is no one today who fully understands what  specific changes are coming," Hambardzumyan said According to the  co-founder of TCF, it's essential to recognize it today and continue  to develop. So far, in her opinion, nothing terrible has happened or  changed, but in five years, the transformation will be tectonic.

During a panel discussion, Ishkhan Margaryan, Deputy Director and HR  Director at Data Art, noted that the labor market has become more  efficient with the implementation of AI. "What used to take us two  hours can now be accomplished in two to ten minutes. We can say that  we are moving toward a better life," he noted.

However, according to the expert, all AI-related processes should be  viewed not  "with their bellies" but from a perspective that extends  beyond it and, for example, to villages where people are actively  engaged in agriculture. "We will clearly see that life will not  change as quickly as we imagine. AI will not change our reality  anytime soon. And I personally don't expect such dramatic changes  within the next 10 years," Margaryan emphasized.

Vahan Melkumyan, Head of  Ameriabank's People Platform Product, noted  that despite changes in the speed, dynamics, capabilities, and  abilities, the role of humans will remain unchanged. "Whatever  happens, humans will be at the epicenter of these events, since all  changes affect our lives," he noted.

Melkumyan noted that today, humans need to adapt, learn, and take  advantage of all the opportunities these changes offer.

"We often talk about the risks of AI, but we shouldn't forget the  numerous opportunities that can be taken advantage of," he concluded.
