
ArmInfo. Opportunities for expanding economic relations and deepening Armenian-Polish cooperation were discussed during a meeting on the sidelines of the Armenian- Polish intergovernmental commission in Warsaw between Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Anushik Avetyan and Polish Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Technology Michal Baranowski.
According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Economy, the parties highlighted the growing role of technical and institutional cooperation between Armenia and Poland. During the meeting, Avetyan and Baranowski discussed issues related to the development of trade turnover, capital markets, compliance with EU standards and regulations, as well as expanding cooperation in areas such as agriculture, food security, modern irrigation methods, livestock farming, and smart technologies in agriculture.
The Polish side expressed its readiness to exchange experiences and engage in scientific and technical cooperation. The parties also discussed economic reforms in Armenia and steps aimed at improving the business environment to increase the potential for bilateral investment cooperation. They also discussed the potential for Poland and its EU partners to participate in the government's "Crossroads of the World" initiative.
At the end of the meeting, Avetian and Baranovsky confirmed that developing economic ties between Armenia and Poland will contribute to the resilience of the two countries' economies, expand exports, and strengthen their long-term partnership.
