ArmInfo. The Tourism Committee of the Armenian Ministry of Economy, along with several industry companies, is attending the Qatar Travel Mart international tourism exhibition in Doha from November 24 to 26.
According to the Committee's press service, Armenia will present its gastronomy, handicrafts, carpet weaving, and a full range of tourism offerings. The delegation has been invited to participate in the exhibition at the invitation of the Department of Tourism of the State of Qatar.
Regarding Armenia's representation at this exhibition, Chairperson of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Lusine Gevorgyan, expressed hope that the launch of direct flights and active collaboration will create another interesting and effective destination for the tourism industry. According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, 230 tourists from Qatar visited Armenia in January- September 2025, which is 8% lower than the same period last year.
