ArmInfo. Monitoring conducted by the Central Bank of Armenia has uncovered fraudulent activities by unlicensed companies operating under the names DaoBit, Orbis (Orbis Exchange), and GKGD. According to the Central Bank of Armenia, these companies are making public offers for attraction of money promising high returns, without having the right to conduct such transactions.
The Central Bank informs that it has not granted any license to these companies for any type of activity; therefore, they function outside the jurisdiction of the Central bank.
To prevent fraud and financial losses, the Central Bank of Armenia urges citizens to exercise vigilance and use only financial services provided by organizations that are licensed by the Central Bank.
