
ArmInfo. Armenia and Latvia have agreed to strengthen cooperation in several areas of technology, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, citing the outcomes of a meeting between Deputy Minister Ruben Simonyan and Latvian Ambassador to Armenia Edite Medne.
The discussions focused on several areas of cooperation, including the exchange of experience in digital literacy, practical support through retraining programs, joint efforts in cybersecurity, and the importance of integrating EU standards. They also talked about the possibility of implementing joint projects, highlighting the significance of research and development (R&D).
During the meeting, Ruben Simonyan discussed the development of the startup ecosystem, initiatives to engage new startups, programs to raise public awareness in cybersecurity, industry achievements, and infrastructure improvements. Ambassador Medne, in turn, emphasized the vast potential for enhancing cooperation between Armenia and Latvia. She shared Latvia's experience and expressed her willingness to support joint initiatives.
