
ArmInfo. Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Arman Khojoyan met with a delegation from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), led by Kaveh Zahedi, Director of the FAO Office of Climate Change, Biodiversity, and Environment.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, during the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to biodiversity, particularly agrobiodiversity, emphasizing the importance of sustainable agriculture in the context of its development and the strengthening of ecosystems.
They also touched upon the implementation of agricultural programs aimed at introducing resource-saving technologies and efficient land management, which have a positive impact on ensuring agrobiodiversity. According to the source, the parties noted the importance of long-term and effective cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and FAO.
