
ArmInfo. Wine and cognac (brandy) production in Armenia has seen a significant decline over the first 10 months of 2025, according to data from the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
Specifically, during the reporting period, 5.6 million liters of wine were produced in Armenia (a 31% year- on-year decline), while cognac production amounted to 10.9 million liters (a 33.2% year-on-year decline). Whiskey production also experienced a decline of 8.4% to 3.8 million liters. On the other hand, the production volumes of vodka, liqueur and other alcoholic beverages have been increasing at a significant rate - by 36.5% to 1.4 million liters, sparkling wine (champagne) - by 14.6% per annum to 962.5 thousand liters, and beer - by 11.3% to 28.2 million liters.
