
ArmInfo. Major renovation to the road leading to the Korean Gorge have been completed. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, citing the results of a visit to Kotayk by a delegation led by Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan.
Repairs on this section began on August 18, and the contractual cost of the project is 276 million drams. Road safety equipment is currently being installed.
"This road is very important, especially for bypassing the city and reducing traffic congestion. A significant amount of work has been completed on this section, the road has been widened and improved," the ministry said in a statement.
The delegation then visited the section of the Yerevan-Ashtarak highway leading to the village of Proshyan. It was noted that repair work had been completed on a 5.02-kilometer section. The contract price was approximately 269 million drams, and the work was 95% complete.
