
ArmInfo.At a meeting with a delegation led by Nancy Lee, Vice President of Business Development at Supermicro, Armenia's Minister of High-Tech Industry, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan expressed Armenia's interest in attracting high-tech companies and implementing investment programs.
According to the Ministry's press service, Hayrapetyan touched on initiatives being implemented in the field of AI, presenting their scale and strategic approaches to development, as well as the government's current work and future challenges.
He also discussed the recently adopted legislative package providing for seven-year state support aimed at creating new jobs, investing in the education sector, and programs promoting research and development (R&D).
Supermicro representatives, in turn, presented the company's main areas of activity and investment policy, citing their experience in applying AI-based technologies and opportunities for cooperation in this field. The latter highly praised Armenia's potential as a regional technology hub.
The discussion focused on Supermicro's investment opportunities in Armenia, including expansion prospects and investment programs in the country's technological landscape. Opportunities for collaboration in the implementation and application of artificial intelligence, as well as the Armenian government's initiatives in this area, were also discussed.
