ArmInfo. Cashback for pensioners and beneficiaries in Armenia may increase from 20% to 22% (20% + 2%). Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan announced this on his Facebook page.
The main condition for taking advantage of this opportunity, according to him, is switching to national payment system cards. This means that those wishing to receive an additional 2% cashback must use an ArCa card for cashless transactions in Armenia. The minister noted that with a 20% cashback, the cashback amount will not exceed 10,000 drams, while with a 2% cashback, the amount can fluctuate up to 60,000 drams. Meanwhile, the 2% cashback applies not only to pensioners and beneficiaries, but also to all ArCa cardholders.
"Therefore, I urge the 48,000 pensioners and beneficiaries to take advantage of this excellent opportunity and switch to cashless payments now," Torosyan noted. He also noted that all payments in the country will be cashless starting April 1.
