ArmInfo. Another batch of Azerbaijani gasoline will soon arrive in Armenia. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan announced this in a conversation with journalists on January 8.
He noted that this is nothing sensational, as these deliveries are already "on track," and this second batch will be followed by a third, fifth, tenth, and so on.
According to the minister, we are talking about several thousand tons of gasoline, not only Premium but also Regular, as well as diesel fuel. Moreover, its price will be 80 drams below the market price.
He noted that the companies that imported the first batch are importing the Azerbaijani gasoline. According to media reports, one of them is Mega Trade, owned by the family of ruling MP Khachatur Sukiasyan. As a reminder, in accordance with the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, oil product exports from Azerbaijan to Armenia have begun. Specifically, the first shipment included 22 railcars of AI-95 gasoline produced by SOCAR, weighing a total of 1,300 tons.
This agreement was reached at a meeting on November 28 in Gabala between Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
