Azerbaijan sent its third batch of fuel to Armenia

ArmInfo. Another shipment of petroleum products has been sent from Azerbaijan to Armenia, according to Turkish Anadolu, citing Azerbaijani media.

According to the report, on Sunday, January 11, a train of 18 cars loaded with 979 tons of AI-92 motor gasoline departed from the Bilajari station in the direction of Boyuk Kesik. The cargo will be delivered to Armenia via Georgia.

On January 9, 2026, 1,742 tons of AI-95 gasoline and 956 tons of diesel fuel—a total of 2,698 tons (a total of 48 cars)—were sent from the Bilajari station to Armenia.

Previously, on December 18, 2025, 1,220 tons of AI-95 motor fuel were sent to Armenia.

An agreement on fuel supplies was reached on November 28 in Gabala following a meeting between the Deputy Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Shahin Mustafayev and Mher Grigoryan.

Furthermore, last November, grain from Kazakhstan and Russia was also delivered to Armenia via Azerbaijan.
