
ArmInfo. In the first 11 months of 2025, Armenia generated 9,001.8 million kWh of electricity, up 6.5% year-on-year.
According to the RA Statistical Committee, electricity generation increased by 5.4% in November alone, reaching 844.9 million kWh.
Specifically, in January-November 2025, hydroelectric power plants (HPPs) contributed 8.6% to 2,029.1 million kWh, and the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) contributed 3.6% to 2,584.8 million kWh. Solar power plants contributed 69.7% to 1,550.4 million kWh. Thermal power plants reduced their electricity generation by 10.7% annually to 2,836.6 million kWh. Wind power plants also reduced their electricity production by 18.2% annually to 0.9 million kWh.
