ArmInfo. On January 13, a meeting- discussion was held at the RA Ministry of Economy with Minister Gevorg Papoyan and over three dozen businessmen and investors in attendance.
According to the ministry's press service, Gevorg Papoyan noted that the Armenian government is consistently promoting the border unblocking program and expressed hope for the creation of new economic and logistical opportunities if the borders with Turkey are opened. "The establishment of specific logistics capacities in border areas, particularly, customs warehouses, customs terminals, and logistics centers, is very important to us," the Minister emphasized.
He also touched on government support instruments available for companies to implement such programs and develop investment initiatives. During the meeting, Minister Gevorg Papoyan answered questions from participants, provided clarifications, and discussed several topics of interest to the business community.
