National standards  developed and approved  in tourism sector

ArmInfo. The Tourism Committee of Armenia, in cooperation with the National Body of  Standardization and Metrology of  the RA Ministry of Economy, has  developed and approved national industry standards.

According to the Committee's press service, the following standards   have been developed and improved:  HST ISO 3021-2025 Adventure  Tourism: Hiking and Trekking / Requirements and Guidelines HST ISO  21101-2025 Adventure Tourism: Safety Management Systems /  Requirements / Amendment 1:  Actions Addressing Climate Change HST  ISO 14785-2025 Tourism and Related Services: Tourist Information  Services / Requirements and Guidelines HST ISO 21902-2025 Tourism and  Related Services: Accessible Tourism for All / Requirements and  Guidelines HST ISO 23405-2025 Tourism and Related Services:  Sustainable Tourism / Principles, Vocabulary, and Model.

" The harmonization of internationally accepted standards will  contribute to the effective development of several legal acts and the  overall improvement of the tourism sector," the Committee stated.
