RA minister of interior, British ambassador discuss cooperation in  cybersecurity

ArmInfo. During a joint meeting, Armenian Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan and British  Ambassador Alexandra Cole discussed prospects for cooperation between  the two countries in the face of hybrid challenges, focusing on the  potential for joint action in the field of cybersecurity.

According to the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Internal  Affairs, during their discussions on the prospects for developing  bilateral relations, the Armenian minister and the British ambassador  also touched upon the possibility of organizing direct flights  between Yerevan and London as a way to strengthen humanitarian ties.

Sarkissian emphasized the importance of the continuous development of  relations between Armenia and the UK, noting that the strategic  cooperation agenda covers key areas of mutual interest. The British  Ambassador, in turn, expressed confidence that bilateral relations  will expand and deepen in the coming years, which, in turn, will  contribute to strengthening the partnership.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to organize reciprocal  visits and exchanges of experience to enhance the institutional and  professional capacity of both sides. As a reminder, Wizz Air will  launch direct flights between Yerevan and London on June 12, 2026.
