According to the source, this prestigious award was presented in the following categories: Best Airport in Europe and Most Dedicated Staff. The ASQ Customer Experience Awards are one of the most authoritative global awards in the field of passenger service and experience assessment, presented by Airports Council International World. Winners are determined based exclusively on independent and direct passenger feedback through standardized surveys.
Zvartnots International Airport was among the winners in the category of airports serving 5 to 15 million passengers annually, a group that included a total of 39 airports across Europe.
It is worth noting that Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport is operated by Armenia - International Airports CJSC under a 30-year concession management agreement signed with the Armenian government in 2001. The company also manages Shirak Airport in Gyumri.
According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, air passenger traffic in 2025 increase d by 6.7% (compared to a 0.4% decline in 2024), reaching 5,755,700 people.
