Armenian government making efforts to make  Armenian investment  climate attractive for French companies

ArmInfo. On February 25, RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received a delegation led by Gauthier Ricord, President of the South Caucasus Group of the  French Entrepreneurship Movement. According to the government press  service, Olivier Decottignies, Ambassador Extraordinary and  Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia, also attended the meeting.

The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed the guests and emphasized the  importance of furthering economic cooperation between Armenia and  France. He noted that the visit of such a representative delegation  to Armenia is a significant indicator of the expansion of bilateral  business ties. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister touched upon  the issue of cooperation between the private sectors of the two  countries, particularly in terms of cultivating a new, high-quality  business culture, including the development of new knowledge,  technologies, and investment opportunities. 

During the meeting, representatives from French private companies  discussed  the main areas of their activities in detail and expressed  their willingness to utilize their accumulated experience and  professional potential to implement investment programs in Armenia in  various formats.

Regarding potential areas of cooperation, Tigran Khachatryan assured  that the government is making consistent efforts to strengthen ties  between the business communities of the two countries and increase  the attractiveness of the Armenian investment climate for French  companies.
