
ArmInfo. The Yerevan Wine Days (YWD) festival, which took place this year from June 5 to 7, was attended by over 180,000 people, both from Armenia and from around the world.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, no serious incidents or accidents with serious consequences were recorded during the festival. More than 100 winemakers and wine companies participated in the festival, presenting over 1,000 types of wine. The Yerevan Wine Days program includes tastings and exclusive presentations, masterclasses and sessions on wine and food pairing, live musical performances, themed art and cultural activities, networking, craft workshops, as well as games and raffles.
The event is organized by the EventTura Foundation. In 2025, the festival hosted 180,000 visitors, 40% of whom were tourists, generating an economic impact of approximately $32 million.
According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, over 7.7 million liters of wine were produced in Armenia in 2025, a 23.3% decrease from the same period last year. In Q1 2026, 1.7 million liters were produced in Armenia. with a year-on-year growth of 26.7%.
