
ArmInfo. A meeting chaired by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was held to discuss the progress of Firebird's construction of an artificial intelligence data center ("AI Factory") in Armenia.
According to the government press service, the progress of the center's construction and installation of technological equipment, as well as steps to establish the necessary infrastructure, were presented during the meeting. The meeting addressed the project's implementation schedule, the work being carried out within the framework of public-private cooperation, and the conditions necessary for the full launch of the "AI Factory."
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of Firebird's AI data center and noted that this is an initiative of strategic importance for Armenia's technological development. The Prime Minister emphasized that the program's implementation will facilitate the development of artificial intelligence and high technology, create new opportunities for scientific research and education, and boost Armenia's international competitiveness in the technology sector.
Firebird's large-scale AI data center is being built in Hrazdan. The project is being implemented in several phases, with investment potentially reaching $4 billion. The center is being built on an area of 200,000 square meters and operates on the latest graphics accelerators. The equipment includes NVIDIA Blackwell systems. The first phase is estimated to cost $500 million, with launch scheduled for the summer of 2026.
