Russia expands restrictions on imports of all fish products from  Armenia

ArmInfo.Russia has expanded restrictions on imports of fish products from Armenia, temporarily suspending certification of products from two more Armenian companies until they resolve previously identified violations. Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance) told TASS. Thus, all imports of fish products from Armenia have been suspended.

The agency recalled that, following systemic violations,  Rosselkhoznadzor had previously requested that Armenia temporarily  suspend certification of all fish products, with the exception of  companies directly involved in the inspection - MF Export LLC and  Invest Plus LLC. A strengthened laboratory monitoring regime has been  introduced for these companies. "Subsequently, following an analysis  of the materials, a preliminary report was prepared, and until the  identified violations are corrected and the necessary supporting  materials are provided, a decision was made to temporarily suspend  certification of the products of these enterprises," Rosselkhoznadzor  reported.

They emphasized that the agency is working with the Armenian side to  ensure the safety of fish and fish products intended for delivery to  the Russian market.
