
ArmInfo. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received a delegation led by Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Head of the Plan and Budget Organization Seyed Hamid Pourmohammadi.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key items on the Armenian-Iranian bilateral agenda, reviewing the progress of cooperation in transport, energy, trade, and other areas of mutual interest.
The interlocutors specifically addressed the modernization of the border crossing point and the enhancement of its throughput capacity, noting that such improvements would directly contribute to the development of trade and economic cooperation.
As co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Joint Commission, the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia and the Vice President of Iran underscored the importance of the commission's work and agreed to continue discussing priority issues within that framework.
