ArmInfo. On September 10, RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with representatives of companies producing rebar. Deputy Minister Tigran Gasparyan also participated in the meeting, the Ministry of Economy press service reported. During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to increase production volumes and productivity of rebar, steps aimed at improving the competitive environment in the industry, customs duties, as well as a number of issues related to the development of local production and increasing market efficiency.
The parties also addressed existing challenges in the industry and possible solutions.
