Polish mining company KGHM is interested in cooperation with Armenian partners.

On September 10, RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Asatur Vardanyan received a delegation led by Remigiusz Paszkiewicz, Director of the Polish state-owned mining company KGHM. Also present at the meeting were Gohar Abajyan, Director of the Investment Support Center Foundation, and representatives of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The MTUI press service reported this.

Welcoming the guests, Asatur Vardanyan emphasized that Armenia's mining industry is one of the most important sectors of the Armenian economy and is attractive from an investment perspective.

 

Remigiusz Paszkiewicz thanked the guests for the reception and noted that KGHM, one of the largest mining companies in Canada, the United States, and Poland, is also considering the possibility of industry cooperation with Armenian companies, both through technology and knowledge sharing.

During the question-and-answer session, the parties discussed their expectations and partnership opportunities, as well as prospects for cooperation with major mining companies operating in Armenia.
