ArmInfo. Armenia exported aluminum foil to Azerbaijan. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan announced this to journalists during a briefing on September 24.
He declined to discuss volumes, noting that the ministry would provide this information later.
It should be noted that, according to the latest customs data, in the first half of 2026, Armenia exported over 10,000 tons of aluminum foil (an 8.5% year-on-year increase), with a customs value increase of 14.1% to $46.6 million. The largest volume of deliveries went to Germany (50.3%) and Poland (26.4%), as well as Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Russia, Georgia, and Moldova. Up to 1 ton of products were shipped to Belarus (40 kg) and Singapore (38 kg).
As a reminder, the only foil exporter in Armenia was the Armenal plant.
