ArmInfo. Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan received a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), led by Elisabetta Falchetti, Executive Director for Turkey and the Caucasus.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of state policy implemented in the Armenian economy, as well as the EBRD's participation in them.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the parties exchanged views on the possibilities of expanding cooperation.
In the context of diversifying Armenia's exports and entering new markets, Gevorg Papoyan proposed continuing discussions on aligning EBRD and EU small and medium-sized business support instruments with Armenia's export strategy and industrial priorities.
The parties agreed to continue working together and advance the cooperation agenda.
It should be noted that the European Bank for Reconstruction and The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) forecasts 5.5% GDP growth for Armenia in 2026 and 2027.
