Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan reported that he discussed the restoration and operation of the Gyumri-Kars power transmission line with a delegation led by Mustafa Pustu, Chairman of the Board and Director General of the Electricity Transmission Organization of Turkey.
"We emphasized the importance of connecting the energy systems of Armenia and Turkey in the context of both bilateral and regional cooperation," Khudatyan wrote on his Facebook page.
According to him, the Turkish delegation also met with the management of the Armenian Power System Operator CJSC today. and High-Voltage Energy Networks CJSC.
As a reminder, back in January of this year, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan supported the idea of connecting the republic's energy system to Turkey and Azerbaijan.
