According to the source, the 55th meeting of the Council of the Multilateral Agreement on Mutual Recognition (MRA) of the European Cooperation in Accreditation (EA) was held in Roissy-en-France, France.
During the meeting, the results of the mutual evaluation of the National Accreditation Body of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia (ARMNAB) State Non-Commercial Organization (SNCO). The Council made a positive decision on ARMNAB's accession to the MRA in the following key areas: - Testing Laboratories (EN ISO/IEC 17025) - Calibration Laboratories (EN ISO/IEC 17025) - Management System Certification (EN ISO/IEC 17021-1)
The official signing ceremony of the Mutual Recognition Agreement will take place at the end of November during the EA Summit.
The signing of the agreements will reduce costs for both manufacturers and importers, as the need to re-evaluate goods and services in another country will be reduced or eliminated, ensuring the free movement of goods.
